No sensitive documents needed yet — just the basics to get started.
You apply through a bank for a vehicle loan, pay a deposit (typically 10% or more), and repay the balance plus interest in monthly instalments over a fixed term — usually 12 to 84 months. SMAC Namibia works with all major Namibian banks and submits your application on your behalf.
Banks generally require a valid Namibian ID, proof of residence, your three most recent payslips, and three to six months of bank statements. Self-employed applicants usually need financial statements or proof of income. You only need the basics to start your enquiry with us.
A deposit of around 10% of the vehicle price is common, though the exact amount depends on the bank and your credit profile. A larger deposit lowers your monthly repayment and total interest.
