No sensitive documents needed yet — just the basics to get started.
You can apply for vehicle finance directly through your bank, or we can submit the application on your behalf. Once approved, the bank will provide your finance terms, including your interest rate, monthly instalment, repayment period and any deposit required. SMAC Namibia works with all major Namibian banks to assist with the finance process.
You will usually need your ID, proof of residence, latest payslips and recent bank statements. Requirements may differ depending on the bank and whether you are employed or self-employed. Our team will let you know what is needed for your application.

You can also choose to pay a larger deposit, which will reduce the amount you need to finance, your monthly instalment and the total interest you pay.
Yes. If you’re self-employed, you can still apply for vehicle finance. The bank may ask for additional documents, such as bank statements, financial statements and proof of income. We can help you with the application and let you know what documents are required.
